The Standards I Write By
Everything is written by a named human
Every article on this site is written and signed by Chandler Boyce. There are no ghostwritten guest posts, no unattributed contributors, and no syndicated filler. If a piece ever includes another voice, that person is named in the byline.
Recommendations come from real use
I only recommend software, consultants, and organizations I have used myself or watched work inside churches and companies I advise. If I have not seen something work firsthand, I either say so plainly or I leave it out.
Claims are sourced, and numbers are attributed
Statistics, pricing, and factual claims about other organizations come from that organization's own public material or a named source, linked so you can verify it. Where a post relies on outside evidence, those references are listed at the bottom of the article.
AI assists the work, it never replaces the judgment
I use AI the same way I tell church teams to use it: for research support, outlining, and cleanup — never to invent facts, testimonials, or opinions. Every published sentence is read, edited, and approved by me before it goes live.
Opinions are labeled as opinions
Strategy advice is my judgment based on twenty years of building businesses and leading in ministry. It is offered as experience, not as guaranteed outcomes, and it is separated from anything presented as fact.
No pay-to-play placement
Nobody can buy a recommendation, a review score, or a spot on a list. Where a partner relationship or affiliate link exists, it is disclosed on the page itself, and it never changes what I say about the product.
How Dates Work On This Site
- Published
- New articles go live on a weekly Monday cadence. The publish date appears at the top of every post.
- Updated
- When facts, pricing, or my recommendation changes, I edit the article and stamp it with an updated date. Substantive changes are reflected in the article body, not buried in a footnote.
- Last reviewed
- Cornerstone guides carry a separate last-reviewed date. Those guides are re-read at least twice a year — and sooner when a tool I recommend changes plans, gets acquired, or gets replaced by something better.
- Corrections
- If something here is wrong, tell me and I will fix it. Material corrections are made in the article and the review date is refreshed so you can see the page has been checked.
Who Is Behind This Writing?
I’m Chandler Boyce — an entrepreneur, organizational strategist, and speaker with more than 20 years across business and executive ministry leadership. I helped grow Youth America from roughly 1,500 to more than 5,000 annual attendees, and I founded Marketing Co-op, Local Church Media, and Church Dash. I host The Outstand Podcast. Everything I publish here comes out of that work, not out of research about it.
